Four Parts of the Christian Biblical Narrative & God’s Nature
The biblical narrative provides the foundation for the Christian worldview. This establishes the four parts of the narrative, which provide rich perspectives for diverse ethical aspects faced by Christians in the world (Hoehner, 2020). Thus, the narrative through the four parts provides guidance and explanation on how people ought to approach different facets of today’s healthcare. God created the world and its possessions man made in his image and gave him power over other things. The fall is linked with Adam and Eve’s disobedience to God, causing humans to be separated from God. From this first sin by the human, suffering such as death and sickness fall on the human race.
Nevertheless, despite the fallout from the sin of the first man and woman, God was merciful and sent his son Jesus Christ to redeem humans from their sins. Jesus’ death was a sacrifice to re-establish the good relationship between man and God. There is always hope as, after suffering, illnesses as God’s promises give people hope and courage to face hard times and would be restored (King James Bible, 2017). It is key for people to have faith in Jesus Christ and God and always seek heavenly comfort when they face challenges such as sickness in life. From the four parts of the narrative, God is merciful and fulfills His promises by healing man from suffering or disease. Through this understanding, man should live following God’s ways and be restored to health by God’s intervention (Hoehner, 2020)The Christian Biblical Narrative Essay Assignment. However, the reality remains people will suffer in sickness, but God assures them there is eternal life after death. Suffering, death, and disease are the reality and hence part of the mortal world for man.
Where to Find Comfort & Hope In The Light Of Sickness
According to the biblical narrative, Christians find comfort in God’s powers over any pain and sickness and can be healed. Regarding the part of restoration per the narrative, God promises to save humans from suffering, depicting Him as forgiving and the only source of hope for people. People should live according to bible teachings as they are the Gods way, and will find hope and purpose in life (Cooper, 2022)The Christian Biblical Narrative Essay Assignment. Through understanding God’s love for humans, there is hope and turn to faith and trust for God to take a man through illnesses.
