PICOT Question
In older adults aged 65 years and above with hypertension (P), does lifestyle modification (I), compare to patients who utilize prescription to treat their hypertension (C), reduce incidences of hypertension (O), over one year period (T). My research emphasized the searching article journals and other resources related to hypertension in old people above 65-years and the impacts of various lifestyles and the prescription of drugs on the health condition. The ability to conduct a PICOT search on the topic of interest was a notable one. Besides, some of the databases were not useful because either they did not lead to the desired information, or they gave too little information. Nevertheless, I learned a lot from the exercise, information that I will apply in my research Exploring The Literature: PICOT Question.
