Biohazard Separation Between Clean And Soiled Essay
Biohazard Separation Between Clean And Soiled Essay
The purpose is adequately stated across the abstract and deals with answering the developed research question. The purpose is excellently written and involves reducing the risk of cross-contamination or illnesses to the patients’ risks. The abstract is replete with vital background that evaluates the city of biohazard materials from the soil instruments and surgical efforts. This is in an effort to be separated from others and protect them from becoming a source of infection. The methods are effectively applied in the abstract and bring out the design, selection criteria, and data collection models to be applied. You have been ideal in data selection and in identifying the most appropriate method of data management, storage, and collection in the study. This is because the most important way of enhancing a given study is developing its research method. This ensures the study is credible and valid and ensures there are reduced biases during data collection and analysis (Capoor, 2021)Biohazard Separation Between Clean And Soiled Essay.

The results of the study in this abstract are well expressed with vital statements put across to represent the outcomes of the study. The aspect of data separation is well structured such as hazard separation materials from the patients’ outcome as a result of nurse education. For instance, the discussion in the abstract gives the solution of cleaning the rooms and strengthening the biohazard’s safety in reducing instances of infections. The conclusion of the study is vital and briefly touches on the overall study purpose and goal. Additionally, the use of better practices for outpatients’ room cleaning and handwashing will be ideal. The last part of this discussion is the relevance of the study which brings out a clear picture of the entire study. The study should be a great way through which biohazards should be handled including using routine environmental cleaning, staff training, modern disposable containers, and better infection control measures (Bansod, 2023)Biohazard Separation Between Clean And Soiled Essay. The weaknesses of the abstract are its lack of concise data about participants, and outcomes. The strengths of the abstract are that it has a great structure, creativity and tackling of every part of the study. There is need to include tangible data about the study methods and results to the abstract to make it more appealing to the reader.

Biohazard separation from clean and soiled items
Abstract
Purpose and research question: The purpose of this paper is to evaluate articles that will be used in answering the following research question: Does biohazard separation from clean items decrease the risk of cross contamination or infection risks to patients. Background: Storage of biohazard materials such as surgical slides or soiled instruments should be kept separate from clean products that are going to be used for future patient care. Keeping our patients free from risk of infection or cross contamination should be a top priority for staff. Methods: Collection of primary sources to support change in best practice for patient safety in relation to the need for separation of biohazard materials from clean materials that will be used for future patient care. Results: Data collected showed that there have been improved outcomes for patients when there are better cleaning and storage practices. Separation of biohazard materials from clean items benefit patient outcomes along with increasing staff education. Keeping the rooms clean after each patient and storing biohazard materials reduces the risk for patient cross contamination and decreases the risk of exposure for staff. Conclusions: Implementing a better education process for staff will help with decreasing the patient risk of cross contamination and infection. Patients should be free from or at least have a minimal risk of cross contamination or infection when seeking medical care. Best practice of hand washing, room cleaning and biohazard storage have been evaluated for this project. Relevance to clinical practice: In an outpatient setting there are many patients who use the same room during the day. There are risks to the patients seen in surgical dermatology such as cross contamination from other patients and infection that should be minimal to non existent. These article show that there are better practices than the ones currently being used in this outpatient setting. Staff should be storing biohazard materials such as soiled instruments, surgical slides, disposed of sharps containers and soiled linens separate from anything that is going to be used for future patient care. If there are items that are multiple patient use such as chairs, counters, trays, stethoscopes or other materials they should be properly cleaned to reduce the risk of infection between patients.
