Applying And Sharing Evidence Discussion Paper
Applying And Sharing Evidence Discussion Paper
Application and implications for practice come from the interpretation of meaning from research findings. Communicating and using research evidence is an expectation of a BSN graduate.
Select and describe one of the Discussions or Conclusions from the required article from the Week 6 assignment that you found interesting and applicable to practice. Describe how you would apply the evidence to improve nursing practice. Explain your answer.
Discuss ways you would disseminate research-based evidence; how would you share with your peers? Include your thoughts on why it is important for you to be involved in communicating and applying nursing research evidence. Applying And Sharing Evidence Discussion Paper

Introduction
Nurse work-related stress is indeed a great obstacle to the provision of care by nurses all over. Various factors contribute to nurses’ burnout and unsatisfactory working environments, which in turn negatively affects patient care and health outcomes. From the research done, resilience is a great tool that can help nurses overcome job-related stressors to reduce burnout.
Research shows that appropriate resources and education can help reduce stress in the workplace and thereby improve working conditions for nurses. Various ways to reduce stress is by promoting resilience through strategies like increasing work benefits, reducing the workload, providing professional training opportunities, ensuring flexible schedules, and psychological counselling at work (Leng et al., 2020). By providing the above strategies, nurses will fell appreciated. This brings to positive energy around the workplace, which contributes to better patient care and outcomes (Buljac-Samardzic et al., 2020)Applying And Sharing Evidence Discussion Paper. I would apply this research evidence in practice by making a suggestion to those in charge and educating them on ways to improve working conditions for nurses.
One of the ways of disseminating the evidence-based practice is by use of social media platforms in the office. This will ensure that people within the organization get to participate and give their ideas on the practice. We can also use brochures, team meetings and organize workshops to educate members on the same (Cleary‐Holdforth et al., 2021). This will give everyone including the leaders an opportunity to see the benefits of using the above ways to improve working conditions for nurses to improve the nursing practice. Sharing evidence-based practice enables peer-to-peer education to improve knowledge and advance patient care. Evidence-based practice also leads to better patient care by ensuring the use of improved, appropriate, consistent, and affordable care services that lead to better patient outcomes (Abu-Baker et al., 2021)Applying And Sharing Evidence Discussion Paper.
