Psychopathology deals with mental health problems. It is the scientific exploration of abnormal mental states that has been ongoing for many years in dealing with psychiatric disorder and how it also affects the modern-day psychiatry (Schultz-Lutter et al)The Mental Health Assignment Discussion. This brings us to developmental psychopathology. Developmental psychopathology has been on going for many years, it tells how disorders arose, and how it should be treated. It deals with human development and psychology.

Genetics plays a very strong role in influencing humans. Everyone is borne with a different traits and behavior, the environment we grow in is influenced by our genetic control. This will affect an individual’s behavior. People responds differently based on the experience on their environment which is influenced by genetic.

An individual behavior and cognitive process, emotional and development status will be influenced psychologically based on how and the environment such individual is raised. An example will be children that are raised in institution will most likely experience psychosocial deprivation and will most likely develop negative development outcomes which will affect their cognition, their behavior and socially The Mental Health Assignment Discussion.

An individual social, cultural and interpersonal factors will be influenced by their development of pathophysiology as it will determine how an individual feels, thinks and relate to social interactions, culture will also influence how an individual will react or seek help and treatment. Individuals react differently based on their social and cultural factors. Some may not be able to communicate or express their mental issues and may not seek help. People have their beliefs, norms and values they hold onto which is very important to them, and these will influence their development of psychopathology.

Well-written post! I consider your approach to be very enlightening and fascinating in that it brings to light the reality that one’s mental health is reliant on the precision with which a diagnosis is made and the identification of the underlying cause variables. It is clear that biological variables have a major bearing on the rate of occurrence of mental disorders. This is because there are specific characteristics based on a genetic predisposition that make the afflicted populations very susceptible to mental problems (Lebowitz & Appelbaum, 2018). Since those who already have mental health issues seem to be at a greater risk for developing psychopathology, it is encouraging to see a solid incorporation of the psychological elements that predispose predominance in your post (Causadias & Cicchetti, 2018)The Mental Health Assignment Discussion.
