1 – start with ‘My name is Mary Smith and I’m a student nurse practitioner.’

You should say that you have been a practicing registered nurse in the State of Florida for 7 years and will soon begin practice as a nurse practitioner. 2 – Identify the issue, and why you want to support or not support it. Cite the evidence you’ve found – and how it upholds your position and them explain how the legislator can help. Be sure to explain how the legislator’s support in this effort is absolutely essential. Explain how this legislation and his/her support will improve life and healthcare for people in Florida.
3 – Thank the legislator for his/her support of your issue. Offer your help to support the topic- it’s putting your dedication where you said it should be.
